Testing And Validation

Overview

Testing and validation considerations are crucial to the supply of control and SCADA, batch and data management systems. This supports our primary objective to provide highly efficient and reliable automation and data management systems, which in turn ensure highly reliable, cost effective and environmentally sound overall manufacturing/production processes.

Quality Management

  • Quality Management System
  • Standards, Practices and Conventions
  • Code Review
  • Software Bench Testing
  • Configuration Management
  • Hardware and Software Testing (FAT)
  • Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
  • Installation Qualification (IQ)
  • Operational Qualification (OQ)
  • The testing and validation are part of an overall Quality Management System. MAAK follows a Quality Management System which encompasses CSA standards (CSA-Q396) and GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) Guide for Validation. MAAK’s QMS consists of defined procedures and standards to ensure that theproject objectives are met with high quality. Where appropriate, the systems are designed to ensure 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

    Testing

The objective of testing is to prove that the automation system hardware and software will perform reliably in conformance to specifications, and that the system remains under control even under the most extreme operating conditions. Our team members have detailed experience with hardware and software test requirements and documentation, as required by regulatory authorities.

We are confident that our testing and validation experience will provide our clients with a high quality product which will reduce overall life cycle costs.
