MAAK has designed and implemented automation/SCADA systems for the industrial market. Some of the projects have involved designing and developing custom solutions to meet some stringent requirements.

Some of these projects are described below:

Vehicle Fire Fighting Control System

MAAK developed a computerized foam control system to provide highly accurate ratio control. New foaming agents are extremely expensive, and consequently precise ratio control is very desirable. MAAK’s system has been used in US, Canada, Australia, Korea, UK, Oman and Saudi Arabia. View project sheet

Stacker/Reclaimer Control Systems

MAAK has been involved in a number of projects providing services and controls for Stacker/Reclaimer systems. Systems designed have fail safe features (e.g. collision avoidance), and custom algorithms to manage the stacking and reclaiming. View project sheet

Paint Facility Control System Support

The facility produces resins, solvents, and other coating materials, which frequently change to meet the changing market demands. MAAK has been involved with the overall automation system network analysis and re-design, as well as process upgrades. View project sheet

Chemical Plant SCADA/Information System

The plant consists of batch processes for the production of adhesives, sealants, coatings and process chemicals. The project was to upgrade an existing SCADA system with PROFIBUS and Ethernet networks. View project sheet
