Water and Wastewater Markets

Overview

MAAK has a team of engineers, technologists and technicians focused on water and wastewater applications. The team has gained extensive experience based on a number of projects including the development of client standards. Additionally, Optimization (MTG_opt©) and Predictive (MTG_pred©) tools are used for reducing operating costs significantly.

Our engineering, automation, and data management systems are geared towards ensuring the delivery of water and wastewater in a highly reliable, cost effective and environmentally sound manner.

MAAK has supplied many automation systems to the water and wastewater industry for treatment, distribution, pumping and storage. In designing and developing systems, we adhere to our design standards, or client standards as required.

Key aspects

  • Quality of water/waste-water
  • Reliability of service
  • Optimum chemicals use
  • Optimum energy use
  • Increased productivity
  • Program driven maintenance
  • Quality Management

MAAK follows a Quality Management System (QMS) with defined procedures and standards to ensure that the project objectives are met with high quality. Our programming/software project quality management philosophy is centred on the observation that “improving quality reduces development & operational costs”. We emphasize on an explicit quality objective and QA activity. The formal management model is based on the life-cycle concept for the development of automated systems. The life-cycle concept covers the phases of planning, specification, design, development, testing and system acceptance.
